4Digital Media has announced Buffy The Vampire Slayer – Collector’s Set (40 discs) that it will be releasing Ink on DVD later this month, the confirmed release date is 25/04/11 with extras including a filmmakers commentary, 10 minute behind the scenes featurette, an interview with actors Naval Criminal Investigative Service Seasons 1-9 DVD Box Set Christopher Soren Kelly and Quinn Hunchar, a deleted scene and 2 trailers. The SRP for the disc is £15.99 and can be picked up at Amazon, Play and HMV for various prices. Unfortunately there are no
plans for a Blu-Ray release. I haven’t seen the film myself, but you can bet that I will be picking up a copy on the release date.
One assumes series regulars Judi Dench and Jeffrey Wright
Just a little update for all of you awaiting Daniel Craig goodness. MGM and Sony Pictures have announced that James Bond will Gossip Girl Season 5 DVD Box Set be returning to us in his 23rd feature on Friday 26th October 2012 (UK) and 9th November 2012 (US) . That’s right, since Craig injected some life back into the franchise in 2006′s Casino Royale we’ve wanted more, and even though Elmo World Collection DVD Box Set Quantum of Solace wasn’t all we could have hoped for (unless someone was hoping for a big mess) fans are still chomping at the bit for a new outing with 007. Not much is known about the upcoming picture from the franchise other than Craig is back starring as James Bond with Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition) in
the directors chair. One assumes series regulars Judi Dench and Jeffrey Wright will also make an appearance but this is yet to be confirmed. Still, with this lack of information I’m excited, alas we still have over a years wait ahead of us, but for the impatient ones out there, here’s a nice little video that popped up online earlier this year.
Personally I have been a bit disappointed but I have faith
As you may well gather from my previous Doctor Who review, I am rather a big fan of Matt Smith’s Doctor. I also quite enjoy House M.D Season 8 DVD Box Set Amy Pond, though I am aware she isn’t the strongest actress, I enjoy her clothes and her relationship with the Doctor, not infatuated with him like so many of David Tennant’s companions, but sort of like best friends, which is rather nice. I also Hot In Cleveland Season 2 DVD Box Set like Rory lots, it’s hard not to really he just comes across as a very nice guy. Yet I can understand why someone wouldn’t love the recent series, and in some ways the characters. Yes, Matt Smith can be a bit cartoonish, yes Amy’s a bit
annoying – maybe Rory’s a bit unnecessary (though I find it hard to say a bad word about him.) And it has been a bit patchy. Maybe it’s because of the high expectations of Stephen Moffat, who has written some of the finest episodes not just in Doctor Who but potentially in television history. Personally I have been a bit disappointed but I have faith, and if an episode isn’t particularly great I know a better one is right around the corner, and I just love to be proven right.
It took a little while to get into but once I did, I really enjoyed it
I enjoyed the season opener, but then I felt it Once Upon a Time Season 1 DVD Box Set went a little off course with ‘The Curse of the Black Spot’ which I quite honestly found a bit dull – not awful, just a bit boring.. It picked up a little with ‘The Doctor’s Wife’, but it wasn’t really until last week’s ‘The Rebel Flesh’ where my faith paid off.
It took a little while to get into Traveler Season 1 DVD Box Set but once I did, I really enjoyed it. The ‘alien threat’ in this case wasn’t quite alien which was pleasing, in a way, and it presented an interesting dilemma – questioning who was more monstrous – the ‘gangers’ or the ‘originals’. I never warm very Mr. Men and Little Miss DVD Box Set well to new characters, but the cast were really rather good, particularly Raquel Cassidy as Cleaves, the foreman, and Sarah Smart was excellent as Jennifer, which I can imagine was a very difficult part to play, being all at once pathetic, angry and scary.
White Collar Season 3 DVD Box Set
The second part, ‘The Almost People’ was even better, and Matt Smith put on a fantastic performances as both Doctors, particularly White Collar Season 3 DVD Box Set when the ‘ganger’ Doctor is dealing with all the previous incarnations of the Doctor going through his mind, a nice touch. The plot itself How I Met Your Mother Seasons 1-7 DVD Box Set was well done, intricate and clever, Jennifer becoming a fine bad guy, but how can I keep talking about that when I could just jump straight to the ending? What an ending!
It’s the kind of ending that makes you review everything you’ve seen so far and makes you want to watch it all again – a very
clever ploy I suppose. What I didn’t get until it was pointed out to me was that as Amy thought that she was speaking to the ‘ganger’ Doctor, she told him about his death.
They seem to follow the exact same footsteps as the first film
Many sequels to comedies fall into a trap, they seem to follow the exact same footsteps as the first film, Austin Powers in Goldmember, Wayne’s World 2 and Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay all suffered from True Blood Season 1-4 DVD Box Set this and The Hangover Part II is no different. This doesn’t make it a bad film, it just makes a little lazy but still quite comfortable. Just like in Hawaii Five-0 Season 2 DVD Box Set the first film, Alan (Galifianakis), Stu (Helms) and Phil (Cooper) wake up with no short term memory after a wild night with a member of their party missing (this time Stu’s brother in-law to be) and they must find that person within a
time limit (before Stu’s wedding). Along the way they run into international criminal Leslie Chow (Ken Jeong), a coke dealing monkey and some women who aren’t exactly what they seem.
The characters are what keep the comedy alive
This film is dark and twisted, the Hung Seasons 3 DVD Box Set jokes are for more outrageous than the first, pushing the very boundaries of good taste in a way that only John Waters could be proud of, but it’s funny. There are plenty of moments in the film that offer deep belly laughs and it keeps a smile on your face throughout. The characters are what keep the comedy alive, this is the role Friends – The Complete Series Collection Galifianakis was born to play and probably the one he will play throughout his entire career, but it works well and keeps the jokes coming. Ed Helms offers a real centre to the piece; he holds it all together offering both a wildly comedic but sympathetic role. Sadly, despite having a huge amount of charisma, Bradley
Cooper is offered very little to do in this sequel apart from just observing on what is going on and getting beaten up every now and then. The supporting cast of Paul Giamatti and Jeong don’t really add much more than plot filler, but with Helms and Galifianakis burning the comedy torch brightly, there is still a lot to enjoy here.4F39500149264DE474AA8FA4C67379D1
